Who doesn’t want bold, dramatic, natural eyebrows? They are a must-have beauty accessory of 2018. Eyebrows are one of the most distinctive features of your face.
I consider them to be my most defining, signature facial feature. What I love about them is the youthful appearance they bring. Beautiful brows can not only make you look healthy but draw focus to your eyes. That’s we spend so much time and money trying to grow and maintain them!
What are you using for your brows?
I’m sure you’ve seen the variety of “miracle” eyebrow products on the market that can give you bolder brows. Unfortunately, some of these products contain undesirable ingredients, additives and preservatives. However, there’s a natural approach you can use to grow your brows. And today, I want to share it with you.
Four tips for growing out your eyebrows
1. No more excuses – Eat healthier
As obvious as it seems, the more green vegetables, fruits and highly-nutritious foods you eat, the closer you’ll be to beautiful brows. Try to fortify your diet by eating foods rich in vitamins, phytonutrients and antioxidants. Fall in love with foods from the rainbow. Remember, what you put inside will show on the outside.

2. Put your tweezers down!
Yes! Avoid plucking any stray hairs. You shouldn’t be afraid to let your brows grow. For now, you have to be patient and give them a break without any tweezing for two or three months. In the meantime, use an eyebrow pencil or powder. Apply it in light strokes just to enhance the definition of your brows and cover the stray hairs. Ensure you choose a colour that’s a shade or two lighter than your hair colour.
3. Manage that stress
Untreated stress often leads to hair loss. Fortunately, yoga and other forms of meditation (Join us for open air yoga) are great ways for getting rid of stress and strengthening your body. There are powerful yoga poses that will help faster hair growth and prevent hair loss by increasing the circulation of blood to your head. Also, simple breathing exercises can help to oxygenate and rejuvenate your body and most importantly your hair.
4. Nourish your brows
A combination of jojoba oil and organic coconut oil is great as a conditioner for your brows. After you cleanse, tone and moisturise your face at night, try to blend a small amount of these oils and gently massage it into my hair follicles in a circular motion. These oils contain natural hair-healthy and skin-rejuvenating ingredients. They can also help stimulate and nourish the hair growth at the root.
Your eyebrows won’t grow overnight. It will take time.
Note: The average time it takes for the delicate hair to grow back if you tweeze your brows can be nearly two months? So, keep this in mind. Anything worthwhile is worth waiting for!
