Razor burn can not only be unsightly, but painful too. And, if you’ve tried every product at your pharmacy, you’ve probably given up. Well don’t! There’s something in your kitchen cabinet that can treat it!
So, what is this razor burn remedy, you ask? It’s baking soda!
This inexpensive, readily-available remedy can treat razor burn and leave your skin looking younger.
Baking soda for razor burn recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup warm water
1 tbsp. baking soda
Combine these two ingredients in a bowl or cup. However, you need to ensure the water isn’t hot or it’ll burn your skin and not soothe it. You’ll then need a few clean cotton pads. Dip each cotton pad into the water and baking soda solution and apply directly to the razor burn on your skin. You should leave the solution to dry on your skin in no longer than five minutes. After the solution has dried, rinse your skin with cool water.
Baking soda is also great to use as a pre- or after-shave treatment. You won’t have to spend lots of money on expensive pre- and after-shave lotions. All you’ll do is use the baking soda in the exact same way you’d use it to treat burns from razors. Just ensure the solution does not go into your eyes.
