Body lotion confusion has arisen. I always favour natural products, and organic is even more preferable. Presently I have 3 natural favourites, and I have sneaked in a couple of other body lotions. The following are my recommendations.
Naturals
Gluki Organics, manufacture organic products for new Mom’s and babies, but I see no reason why I shouldn’t use the hand and body moisturising lotion, even though my children have grown up. I love the gentle aroma of the lotion, as well as the texture. The best thing about it, is that the lotion absorbs into your skin immediately and leaves no oily residue. This is because it allows your skin to breathe while gently nourishing it. Read here, for more info.
Elixir SPF 30/50 Sunscreen, is amazing. I use it as a body lotion, and the added bonus is that it is a sunblock, which protects from UVA and UVB rays. It is oil free, quick drying and easily absorbed. I recommend applying the lotion from top to toe every morning, especially if you are going to be spending time outdoors. Le Bleu body butter, is deeply moisturising. I recommend using this body lotion when your skin is in need of TLC. It is an extreme moisturiser. This organic avocado lotion leaves your skin soft and smooth. It is also great to use for a massage. Read here for more info.
Value for money
Nivea Q10 firming body lotion, really does what it says, and my skin is always visibly firmer after applying it, consistently for a couple of weeks. “Q10 is a natural component of your skin which actively works to keep it firm; however levels of Q10 decrease with age and the skin becomes less able to renew itself.” Click, for more info on all Nivea moisturisers.
My all time favourite
Clarins Extra-Firming Body Cream, is my instant body beautifier. As soon as I apply this cream, my skin looks softer, firmer and younger. I highly recommend this body cream, to anyone who would like to see instant results. It has an anti-wrinkle blend of Lemon Thyme, Centella and Bocoa extracts. Click for more info.
