Argan oil is packed with antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamin E which hydrate even the driest skin. It doesn’t grease up oily skin or clog your pores but, is a natural anti-ager you can use day and night. Here are four skincare uses for argan oil
1. Moisturiser
After cleansing your skin, massage a few drops of argan oil into your face and neck. Argan oil isn’t greasy and your skin absorbs it quickly. Therefore, you can do this morning or night. You can also use argan oil as a hydrating serum by applying your night cream after your skin absorbs the oil.
2. Toner
Mix a few drops of the argan oil with your regular facial toner to make a hydrating toner. Apply this mixture to your skin using cotton pads to replenish and tone your skin. You ca also mix a few drops of argan oil to rose or orange blossom water to make an all-natural toner.
3. Lip scrub
Add a few drops of pure vanilla extract and argan oil to fine brown sugar. Then lightly massage the mixture into your lips with your fingertips in circular motions and rinse off with warm water. This scrub can help moisturise and smooth your lips. The argan oil in the scrub also helps hydrate and plump your pout.
4. Face mask
Add a few drops of argan oil to your face mask to rejuvenate and brighten your skin. You can also make your own mask by mixing three teaspoons of Greek yoghurt, one tablespoon of lemon juice, one tablespoon of raw honey and three drops of argan oil in a bowl. Then, after cleaning and dry your skin, apply the mask and leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.
