Listen up Ladies: You don’t need to spend lots of money on beauty treatments, just to halt the benefits by slapping make-up on your face every day. The fact is, nature offers an abundance of ingredients and, Epsom salt should be one of those products you just use in your beauty routine. Here’s why you should give this alternative a go instead of those expensive, chemically infused products.
How to use Epsom salt in your beauty routine
It deep cleans your skin
Your skin needs refreshing at the end of a long day. What you need is a face mask made with a pinch of Epsom salt and two beaten egg whites. Apply the mask to your face and leave it on for about 10 minutes. This will allow it to unclog your pores and remove any gunk from your skin. Then, remove the mask with warm water and a facecloth You can use this mask once or twice a week for best results.
It hydrates your skin
An Epsom salt bath will surely leave your skin feeling hydrated and rejuvenated every time. What I like about the tried and tested bath is how it leaves my mind and body feeling calm and relaxed. According to research, the high magnesium in Epsom salt helps reduce your levels of the stress hormone, cortisol. Just add three or four cups of Epsom salt with 10 drops of an essential oil to your bathwater. Soak in for as long as you like!

It boosts your hair health
If your hair’s looking weighed down or just greasy, then adding Epsom salt to your conditioner can help give your hair that boost while nixing oil at the same time. All you have to do is mix equal parts of Epsom salt and your conditioner in a bottle. Then, once a week, use this mixture after shampooing. You can leave the conditioner in for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water. (This is the perfect time to shave your legs!).
It exfoliates your skin
It can be an all-over scrub or just a focus on problems areas like knees or dry elbows. You’ll be amazed at what a mixture of Epsom salt with a palm-size amount of bath oil can do. After scrubbing your trouble spots, leave the mixture on for approximately five minutes, and then rinse off with warm water. The warm water will help open up your pores. It will also help your skin absorb all the goodness from the two products.
You can order a bag of Epsom salt from our online store.

I love Epsom salts. On top of all you mention, I use them for my spiritual health too. I feel it cleanses me in a way and detoxes the negative. It’s amazing and I always turn to using these in my bath when I’m feeling a bit low-spirited. It helps a lot.
Thanks for that tip Beatrice. I’ll most certainly try the bath in my low moments. I always turn to the negative things that end up making the negative more negative. Hope it helps. Thanks.
