So, here’s the best way of blocking out distracting thoughts when you’re trying to concentrate. Shut your eyes and
visualise a ‘stop’ sign – see the word ‘stop’ flashing on and off. Say ‘stop’ over and over again in time with that flashing sign. Clench your hand into a fist and contract your muscles as you say ‘stop’. Repeat this process as and when necessary. This exercise should help to regain your concentration levels and focus on the task at hand.
