Sometimes joint pain that seems like arthritis is actually caused by something else entirely. This is why it’s called “false” arthritis. It could be food poisoning (salmonella), a curable disease (chronic arthropathy) or a drug reaction. So, ensure your doctor does proper tests to determine whether you have arthritis or a mimic.
