Have you ever sat down and wondered what it means when you say “you’re dieting”? Well, it usually means you should avoid that, you can’t eat this and there’s no way you can eat THAT!

However, it’s not only the food you stop eating that makes it a real diet. You also have to eat loads of vegetables and everything “fat-free”. But, why doesn’t it ever work? Well, you’re essentially changing your entire eating routine from something you enjoyed to torture. You end up punishing yourself every time you slip up, but because you feel so deprived, it’s hard not to!

 

There’s no reason to starve your body when you’re trying to lose weight. You just need to change the way you diet. So, start eating a wholesome breakfast, snacking on seeds, nuts or nut butter between meals, eat lean meat, whole-grains and veggies for lunch and something similar for dinner and give yourself a cheat day! Then you’ll see your diet start to work for you.
