So it’s been an extra busy time for Life Retreat over the past few weeks. With Summer almost here, we have been testing all sorts of products before making the decision to sell them or not. We have a whole host of new competitions with amazing give-aways to our readers. And of course on top of all that we have written blogs on all kinds of subjects, from losing weight to make-up tips; from fitness to exciting new superfoods. Here’s some of the best of the past week from Life Retreat!
“For the past week I took part in the #MyGarnierComeCleanChallenge and i absolutely cannot wait to share my experience with all of you! I received a beautifully packaged box of goodies that would prepare me for the week ahead.”
To add to that, in another incredible competition we launched this week, we announced that we are giving away the entire contents of Garnier’s challenge!
The giveaway includes six products:

Natural Beauty is something that we at Life Retreat champion. We should all be striving to eat more naturally and yes we should also be striving to use more natural products on our skin and bodies.
That’s why on Monday Trish posted an article all about what is actually in some of these natural products and why it’s definitely a good idea for us to be using them:
Being fans of natural health and healing products, you can imagine how delighted we were to come across Naturals Beauty. All the products are all organic, natural, affordable and top quality.
What I love about all products that are made up with essential oils, is that the bonus is that they have healing properties. They heal us from the outside in, as our bodies absorb the benefits through our skin.
You can read the entire article here. If you would like to read more about Natural Beauty and the products they sell you can do just that by clicking here.
Part of Life Retreat’s promise in our Online Store is that we only sell products that we have tried and tested, or that have been recommended to us by people we trust.
That’s why on Tuesday Samantha wrote another article, “Better For You, Better For The Earth:”
“The main aim of better earth is to get as many people as possible to use house-hold products that have little or no knock effects to the broader environment. Their products are bio-degradable, do not contain harmful chemicals and are certainly better for the earth than some of your more conventional cleaners.”
You can go ahead and read the full article, which is all about a new range of products that are much better for the earth (and you yourself!), by clicking here.
On Wednesday we posted a thought provoking article entitled “It’s Time To Try A Digital Detox“. In it, we explained how it can be very beneficial to your health and well-being to take a short break from everything digital: that means social media, phone calls, the internet, EVERYTHING:
“Just so you know how it worked: I went off the grid for one whole weekend (as with any challenge, it’s important to have a realistic goal). I switched off all my digital devices. From Friday evening up until Monday morning, I was 21st century incommunicado – no texting, no social networking, no nothing.”
You can read this highly entertaining blog post right here.
So that’s it for this week’s round up. There’s lots more to discover at Life Retreat though, and to be honest a top five is hard to choose – maybe it should be a top ten in the near future!
Until next week,
The Life Retreat Team
Thanks for supporting us you guys! The come clean challenge is open to all who apply!
