Post Event Gratitude – Mindfulness Journey


What am amazing event, and the positive feedback is still pouring in. Thank you to everyone involved in this event for assisting us to put it together in 3 days, and with such success.

Join us for a journey to the source of human inspiration

As humans, we are still foraging. However, instead of turning over rocks in search of insects and nuts, we are searching to understand “it all”. Our deepest motivating force is to make a difference, to experience meaning and live with purpose. We want to be of service and add value to the people around us. Furthermore, feeling needed and appreciated makes us happy.

 Streetschool offers unique mindfulness retreats to Dharamsala, home of the Dalai Lama in India, to connect you with a renewed sense of meaning and purpose. During this enriching journey, you will spend time with Tibetan teachers exploring the meaning of life and attending sessions on Buddhist psychology.

Furthermore, you’ll visit a meditation retreat, enjoy holistic healing massages, consult with a Tibetan Healer or Astrologer, learn Tibetan Yoga, and take precious time to spiritually rejuvenate yourself. Our journeys are registered with the SA Board of People Practices SETA, and participants qualify for 60 CPD points. We deal directly with the Office of Tibet to facilitate our sessions with monks and spiritual teachers not accessible to the general public.

R38,500pp includes all flights, all accommodation, 3 meals per day, all local transport, all teaching sessions, entrance fees and donations.


New mindfulness sessions & support group at life retreat studio

We hold mindfulness focus groups on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00-12:00. Consultations for overload, stress or general well-being will be by appointment with positive psychology practitioner, Cathy Venter.
