Albertyn, who received his certifications from Camelot International, enlightened the other members of the massage team in these techniques.
Rungu Massage
The African Rungu massage is a deep tissue massage using a wooden baton, the Rungu. In the Maasai culture the Rungu is an important warrior symbol and may be elaborately carved or made of other materials.
A Rungu massage offers you the maximum benefit of a deep tissue massage by using only 100% natural aromatherapy oils. Also, the baton which is excellent for reaching tired or painful muscles. Thus, ensures lymph drainage and release of endorphins.
Bamboo Massage
Bamboo is one of the most multifaceted plants on earth. Furthermore, it has earned its reputation from its holistic and soft appearance, as well as its perseverance under harsh conditions. Bamboo massage is an innovative way to provide Swedish or deep tissue massage. We use bamboo to roll and knead the tissue to create an extreme sensation of relaxation and well-being. Also, you can do a bamboo massage with a hollow organically-treated bamboo cane of different lengths and diameters. You can also use longer sticks of various widths for gliding strokes. And, you can use the smaller tools for more detailed work.
Apart from relieving you of stress and tension, bamboo massage is also known to improve the texture of your skin. The silica from bamboo extract helps your body absorb essential minerals. These include potassium, calcium and magnesium.
Calabash Massage
A calabash massage gives a deeper dimension to the deep tissue massage by amplifying the movements of the therapist. In addition, the use of different sizes and shaped calabashes allows the therapist to adapt to the body to break tension zones, softens muscles, tendons and tissue. Furthermore, the pressure applied and the deep penetration of 100% natural aromatherapy oils into the pores stimulates the natural elimination of the toxins and fats accumulated by the body. The movements used during the session stimulate the lymphatic system and activate blood circulation. these include deep grazing motions, pressure on acupuncture points.
