Do you battle and stress yourself out to eat “right” only to end up feeling full, tight or swollen in the abdomen? Do you constantly feel rundown and sad because no matter what you do, you still feel bloated, all the time?
Are there days when you just feel so uncomfortable around people because of the pain, excessive gas, abdominal rumbling and frequent burping? Well, you’re not alone. I personally know exactly what you’re going through as I’ve been there before. Gastrointestinal bloating can seriously wreak havoc on your day. Thankfully, I found a recipe that helped me put gastrointestinal bloating to an end…
Common causes of gastrointestinal bloating
Before I share my five-ingredient recipe, it’s important to understand where gastrointestinal bloating comes from. Overeating is usually the most common cause of bloating. Eating rich and fatty food can also make you feel uncomfortably stuffed because fat takes longer to digest than protein or carbohydrates, keeping the stomach full longer. Eating too fast can cause bloating after a meal. This is because satiety signals can take up to 20 minutes to reach the brain and dampen appetite. That’s why many weight loss experts encourage you to eat slowly to help prevent overeating. Other causes include coeliac disease, flatulence, irritable bowel syndrome and hormonal fluctuations.
