1. Apple cider vinegar bath

An apple cider bath helps soothe inflammation from gout and arthritis. This is due to the calcium, magnesium, phosphorous and potassium it contains that help relieve joint pain. Apple cider vinegar also contains the anti-oxidants; acetic acid and beta-carotene that help soothe the pain away.

Add one to two cups of apple cider vinegar to your hot bath water just before bedtime. The apple cider will make you sweat so it’s important to sip on water while you soak in the bath for at least 30 minutes.

2. Epsom salt bath

The digestive system doesn’t easily absorb magnesium when you take it in the form of supplements. This is because stomach acid makes the supplements of magnesium ineffective.
